Isolation

Over Easter weekend, Jon and I flew to Arizona and spent a few days hiking and visiting family. About 2 hours from Phoenix is the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge. We found isolation and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city on a hike up into Palm Canyon.

  3. I am not sure, but that resembles the pass in an Audie Murphy western in which Tony Curtis had his first speaking role as Anthony Curtis. He said "Pa we can cur rhem off at the Pass"! and it looked a lot like that!

  14. I love the contrast of the canyon walls in sun and in shadow. While lots of places are screaming spring green the desert is more subtle.
