Tack-sharp

This may be the sharpest photo I've ever taken of an animal. This Inca Tern was not at all shy when we visited him in the aviary at the Lincoln Park Zoo. The 2nd photo isn't quite as sharp, but it's the best view of his stylish mustache!

  2. Wowser! What a fine shot. I wonder what purpose that amazingly curly thing has. I imagine if it wore tern clothes it would be a sharp dresser too.

  3. I like the top one better because it shows off the startling colors--thered of the beak, the yellow spot and the white moustache--against the black-grey of the rest of the bird.

  9. They're both great but I think I like the second. It really looks like he has a curly mustache. Nicely done.
