Stately old man

On our first full day in Great Basin, we selected a hike that took us through a bristlecone pine forest. Many of these trees are over 3000 (yes, three THOUSAND) years old. Most, like this one, have aged gracefully.

  1. Nice selection. Love old trees like this one and the way this looks against the sky. Sunlight really highlights the crevices and bends.

  4. Loving your trip photos. You have some prize ones. Love the old car and the tree especially. Your shot of the bay and the Alta meadow (with mountains as a backdrop) are wonderful. Love them! Great colors and compositions. Good job.
