I'm thankful for a long zoom!

I spied this Phainopepla on a very thorny bush. He was rather skittish, but sat still long enough for a photo. After this picture was closely cropped, I could see what he looked like!

  7. I saw my first one last July and it was exciting! Your photos are great! I am hoping to see them again in a few weeks as I need better photos. Don't they have the greatest eyes?
